After almost a 5 year break we are presenting you with our new album "Sam's Tantrum". This record captures a mixture of styles — it jumps from funk in "Everything I touch" to plain trash metal in "Sucka’". From psychedelic rock in "Existence" to a smooth ballad on "Love Song". There is a taste of country and disco, pop and old school punk. We've decided to challenge ourselves and follow closer to the footsteps of the bands that have inspired us. This has opened the door to the idea of vintage analog recording. Pushing Father of Sam into unknown waters gave us inspiration to write and create a more complex and deeper sound. Since radio format is no longer relevant in rock music, some of the songs are built like a classical symphony. It goes passed the traditional 3-4 minute length. At times dark and aggressive lyrics are mixed with upbeat groovy melodies. And in some songs we touch the question of death and immortality, while mocking fear and lust for power. This album captures Alec's and Stephan's relations as songwriters and friends. "Sam's Tantrum" is an invitation in to the most intimate side of our lives.
